History of Hol-Mac and Pac-Mac
The Hol-Mac Corporation was originally founded in 1963 as Southern Welding
and Machine, by Charles B. Holder Jr. In the beginning, the company provided
welding and machine shop services to local timber, oil field, construction
and farming industries. As Mr. Holder's resources grew, so did his vision.
Led by a sound financial base, technical expertise, and the drive to expand
into a world-class manufacturer, the Hol-Mac Corporation grew from two
employees in a small facility to four modern facilities with over 400
skilled craftsmen and professionals. With each plant specializing in specific
applications, our dedicated manufacturing space totals over 430,000 square
feet.
In the early 1990's a new division named Pac-Mac was created to provide
products in the solid waste industry. By combining Hol-Mac's 42 years
of experience in hydraulics, steel fabrications, & manufacturing capabilities
we are becoming the industry’s leader in design technology &
product stability.
